Italian champions sign Milan’s De Sciglio
Juventus have completed the signing of Italy full-back Mattia De Sciglio from AC Milan.
The Serie A champions, who also had the transfer of longserving centre-back Leonardo Bonucci to the Rossoneri formally confirmed on Thursday, have secured De Sciglio on a five-year contract.
A statement published on Juve’s website announced the deal, which follows the recruitment of goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny from Arsenal on Wednesday.
Milan-born De Sciglio, who is comfortable both at rightback and on the left flank, will help fill the gap left by Dani Alves, who recently joined Paris St Germain after a single season in Turin.
Juve this week pulled out of a deal to recruit the promising Czech striker Patrik Schick from Sampdoria.
Meanwhile, press reports in Italy have linked the Scudetto holders with a move for the Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic.
