Witness appeal after attack in city park

Police in Inverness are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in the Inshes Park area of the city.

A 31-year-old man was approached by a group of people in the park between 1am and 1:30am on Tuesday, 18 July and had personal items stolen.

The victim received treatment at Raigmore Hospital for minor injuries sustained during the incident.

Two girls, aged 16 and 15, and two boys, aged 16 and 14, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Inquiries are said to be ongoing with police appealing for witnesses.
