Bogus workman inquiry launched after incident

An investigation is underway following a bogus workman incident in Parkwood Grove, Broxburn, West Lothian.

The incident happened around 11am on Thursday when an elderly man was approached at his doorstep by two men offering to undertake roof repairs.

The call was believed to be suspicious and police were contacted. Officers are appealing for witnesses, as they follow a positive line of inquiry.
