Nearly one in five eight-yearolds has their own smartphone, research suggests. A survey of children aged eight to 15 found two-thirds (67 per cent) have their own device, rising from 19 per cent of eightyear-olds. The findings were provided as part of the Halifax Pocket Money Survey.
