Kyles strike early to book their place in final

Kyles Athletic and Newtonmore will meet in this year’s Artemis Macaulay Cup final after winning their regional semi-final ties.

Early goals from Colin Macdonald proved too much for Oban Camanachd, with Kyles winning 2-0 at Mossfield.

Newtonmore were 3-0 extratime winners against Lovat at Braeview Park. Two Jamie Robinson goals and a great Michael Russell run and finish gave ‘More safe passage.

Kinlochshiel moved a point clear at the top of the Premiership as efforts from Scott Maclean, Duncan Macrae and Keith Macrae’s penalty gave them a 3-0 win over Kilmallie at The Canal Parks.

Kingussie beat Glasgow Mid Argyll 3-0 and Lochaber moved out of the relegation zone with a 3-1 win over triumph over Glenurquhart.
