Not so equal
Geoff Miller (Letters, 24 July) says that the “protection” religious believers rightly receive from the law should uniquely include the freedom to discriminate against other minorities.
He boasts that “every person has equal value and is to be respected” and yet that those Christians who discriminate against gay people are “being honest and displaying integrity.” Is it any wonder that our society is now beginning to
remove religious influence from state education and unelected seats from the tables of government?
