Castle’s rabbit warrens cause stability fears
Rabbit warrens are to be surveyed to see if they are making grassy banks around a Scottish castle unstable.
The wild animals have made a maze of holes and tunnels around Inverness Castle, which sits on a cliff overlooking the River Ness.
Highland Council plans to introduce a new remotecontrol grass cutter to the site, but it will first carry out an investigation into its stability.
