Girl, 12, charged over alleged assault on child

A 12-year-old girl has been charged in connection with an alleged assault on a young girl in Aberdeen.

The incident happened in the Great Northern Road area of the city on Sunday.

Police Scotland confirmed the 12-year-old had been charged.

Inspector Ian Mckinnon said: “I would like to once again thank the members of the public who assisted officers with this inquiry. A report will be submitted to the relevant authority.”
