Appeal to Dons fans in search for missing woman

A major search involving police and the coastguard helicopter is under way for a woman who went missing in Aberdeen.

Nusrat Jahan, 34, was reported missing from her home in Seaton around 10:30pm on Thursday.

Police appealed to football fans who were at Pittodrie Stadium to come forward if they saw Ms Jahan in the area. She told a friend she was heading to the beach and searches have taken place there.
