Modular landscaping firm stepping up business

-

A Highlands-based business that produces modular wooden landscaping systems has struck a partnership deal that sows the seeds for further growth across the UK.

After pushing into the market in 2012 with an appearance on the Dragons’ Den TV series, Woodblocx’s products have been used in thousands of domestic gardens and a growing number of commercial installations including a cascading plant display at the entrance to the Westfield centre in London.

The company has been specified by Urban Planters, a national franchise specialising in interior and exterior landscaping and plant displays, to supply its street furniture and planters for public spaces and now the two businesses will work in partnership to offer a similar supply and installation service to domestic customers.

Woodblocx director Henry Blake said the tie-up would help the Dingwall-based company “build on our successful business model”.
