Jack Knox

Jack Knox, who died two years ago, was a much-loved figure in Scottish art, both as an artist and teacher. His bold and richly coloured still lives and landscapes were always a feature of the annual exhibitions. How welcome, then, that the Open Eye is commemorating him in the Festival period with a major retrospective exhibition. Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh, 31 July until 28 August
