Scots help power GB freestyle relay team to world title
Scotland’s Stephen Milne and Duncan Scott were crowned swimming world champions last night as part of the British team who won the 200m freestyle relay final in Budapest.
For Scott, the victory went some way to making up for the disappointment of narrowly missing out on medals in his individual freestyle events earlier in the week.
Englishman James Guy, on the left of the picture beside Scott, swam the final leg of the race to bring the team home just under a second ahead of the Russian Federation in second and the US in third after Milne, far right, Nick Grainger and Scott had provided a solid foundation for the victory.
