Women charged in city centre robbery case

Highland police have charged a 28-year-old woman in relation to an alleged robbery in the Academy Street area of Inverness.

The incident happened in the city centre between 2pm and 2:30pm on Saturday and officers are still appealing for anyone who was in the area to contact them.

Detective Inspector Maggie Miller said: “I can confirm that a woman has been charged in relation to this incident but we would still like to hear from members of the public who were in the area and may have witnessed the incident.”
