“My husband’s a farmer so he wasn’t going to move house – I needed to create myself a job.” She has in fact created what is now a team of seven at its main site “in the middle of nowhere” across two floors of a converted granary.

However, given that location’s focus on the more industrial side of its business, “we wanted to have somewhere where we could really showcase what we do”.

White says the Borders site will continue to serve as its main hub and her base, but she will be spending plenty of time in the new store.
