Divers called in to help search for woman
Divers and a mountain rescue team have been called in to help with the hunt for a missing woman as police extended the search area.
Nusrat Jahan, 34, has been missing from her Aberdeen home since Thursdayafter indicating she was heading to the city’s beach area.
Police Scotland have now extended the search area and concerns for the missing woman are increasing.
Local area commander Chief Inspector Kevin Wallace said: “We are four days on from Nusrat being reported miss- ing to police and I don’t think I need to stress that our concerns for her are growing.
“Today dive teams are carrying out coastal searches while a mountain rescue team is assisting us in.
