Silver sensation: Roman treasure trove found by teenager stars in museum exhibition

-

David Hall, with Glenmorangie research fellow Alice Blackwell of the National Museum of Scotland, examines some of the hoard of Roman silver he discovered in Dairsie in Fife with his metal detector in 2014 when he was 14. The hoard is to go on show for the first time in a new exhibition at the museum in Edinburgh in October.

The Dairsie hoard dates back to the late third century AD.
