Fuelling discord

I don’t think this one is going to play out well. British Gas says it is raising electricity prices by an almost risibly provocative 12.5 per cent from 15 September.

This is either plutonium-grade chutzpah, or tin-eared crassness of a very high order. Maybe owner Centrica thinks the government has too much on its mind to notice. Nah, me neither.
