The Faculty of Advocates has launched a new service for people seeking redress after being injured.

Around 40 advocates and QCS will be available to act as counsel as part of the personal injury arbitratio­n service. The same number are expected to be qualified to be appointed as personal injury arbitrator­s by the end of the year.

Gordon Jackson QC, dean of the Faculty of Advocates, said: “This is about extending consumer choice for people seeking compensati­on.
