Victim of head-on crash named by police

A woman killed in a headoncrashnearhelensburgh has been named by police.

Lisa Fleming, 32, was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa in Rosneath Road towards Clynder at around 6pm on Monday when a silver Ford Mondeo heading in the other direction apparently lost control, moved across the road and collided with her vehicle.

Emergency services attended but Ms Fleming, from Rosneath, died at the scene.

The 21-year-old man driving the Mondeo was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley with minor injuries.
