Plenty of fizz: AG Barr flags healthy profits on 8% rise in half-year revenue
Irn-bru maker AG Barr has assured investors that it is on track to meet full-year profit expectations after flagging an 8 per cent hike in sales. In a brief trading update yesterday, the firm behind the Rubicon, Strathmore water and Funkin brands said revenue for the half year was expected to be £136 million, up on £125.6m a year earlier. Chief executive Roger White said: “We are well positioned to deliver against our expectations across the balance of the year.”
