Unexplained death prompts police appeal

The death of a man found inadundeegardenisbeing treated as unexplained.

John Mottram, 50, was found injured at the back of a property in Dens Road in the early hours of Wednesday, 26 July.

Hewastakentoninewells Hospital in Dundee but died on Friday, police said.

Officers appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Detective Inspector Brian Geddes said: “Specialist officers, including forensic officers, have been involved in the investigation so far and will continue to be in the area over the next few days.”
