An ale of a time: Brewer hosting ‘Oktobeerfest’ festival in September

Loanhead-based Stewart Brewing has announced its first-ever “Oktobeerfest” event taking place next month. The craft beer firm said that after the success of its Edinburgh Beer Festival in May, it will host a two-day beer festival to coincide with the popular German celebration. Along with a variety of beers, the event on September 15 and 16 will include street food vendors as well as music from the likes of The Citizens. Stewart Brewing founder Jo Stewart said: “We want it to be a day everyone can come along and enjoy.”
