Ignition Festival of Motoring revs up fans

The Ignition Festival of Motoring is running at the SEC until Sunday.

The event, described as Scotland’s biggest automotive showcase, promises to give fans the chance to experience the sights, sounds and smells of everything from rally and Formula 1 to drift racing, classic cars and motorbikes.

A specially-constructed street circuit at the arena will also give visitors the opportunity to get up close to the spectacle. One of the cars set to feature on the circuit include the BAR Honda 006 driven by Jenson Button during the 2004 Formula 1 season.
