Shop worker threatened at knife-point

A corner shop worker was threatened at knife-point in a robbery in Glasgow.

A man in his late 30s brandished the knife at the 39-year-old male worker at Usave Mini Market in Saracen Street just after 3pm on Saturday afternoon.

The suspect then made off with a three-figure sum of cash.

He is described as white, of medium build, and was wearing a dark hooded jacket and dark jogging bottoms.

Detective Constable Chris Sneddon, from the Community Investigat­ion Unit based at Govan, has appealed for witnesses.
