Edinburgh Festival snobs ‘look down on comedians’

Sour grapes? Far too many comedians during the Fringe, and most of them more irritating than funny. Get over it. - Bigamboo American networks, I have a high regard for the craft of comedy. It is not the genre that is the problem. It is the tin can noise culture of used car hawkers and pandering joke touts that has destroyed the festival. Bad comedy is as grating as bad violin playing. If there is such a need for this junk market of dross, why not form its own place of abject annoyance somewhere far away? - Professor Tsao
