Dad fined £500 for racist rant at children’s party

A father has been fined £500 after launching into a racist rant against a bar manager at a children’s party.

Businessman Joseph Crombie grabbed Rafal Czech and pushed him towards a wall because he thought he had assaulted his son, Livingston Sheriff Court heard. But Mr Czech was simply stamping on a water balloon to stop children throwing it.

The 35-year-old poked the bar manager at the town’s Deer Park Golf and Country Club and shouted obscenities including telling him to “go back to your own country”.
