Airport road woe

for these repeated errors? DR GERALD EDWARDS

Broom Road, Glasgow I flew up to Edinburgh on Sunday afternoon. The flight arrived on time and I got into a taxi where I sat for over 40 minutes while the driver tried to get out of the airport.

There did not appear to have been an accident, it just seemed that there were too many vehicles filing in from different roads on to a single access road.

If there had been any police around they would almost certainly have been able to get the traffic moving. However, none appeared.

How on earth can we criticise European airport delays if this is what greets visitors to our own city?

I have never experienced anything as bad as this in any other airport. GEORGE RITCHIE Greenhill Gardens
