Fast forward to 2017, under Nicola Sturgeon’s leadership, and we have SNP ministers ruining Scottish education, presiding over a badly failing NHS, watching as transport efficiency declines sharply and ignoring the catastroph­ic mistakes the police are making.

In most cases, these are multiple ministeria­l mistakes, not isolated ones. Just what does it take for Ms Sturgeon’s SNP’S administra­tion to admit similar ministeria­l responsibi­lity
