Aegon in £267m business sale

Aegon, the dutch-insurer that employs 2,000 in Edinburgh Park, has agreed to sell Unirobe Meeùs Groep (UMG), an independent financial advisory group, to Aon Groep Nederland for EUR 295 million (£267m).

The group said the transaction is consistent with its strategic objective to optimise its portfolio across its businesses.
