Partick Thistle Lawless is flawless
We made a flying start to the league season at Easter Road. Unfortunately, Chris Erskine’s sixth-minute opener proved to be the highlight from a Partick point of view. Hibs, to be fair, deserved their win but there was enough in our performance to keep most Jags fans happy.
Steven Lawless’s pass to Erskine for the early goal was a thing of beauty and let’s hope it’s a sign of things to come for the season from one of Scottish football’s most seriously underrated talents.
The injury to Kris Doolan was a blow but Kevin Nisbet looks a decent replacement. His performance in a great midweek Betfred Cup win at St Johnstone was very encouraging.
