Hundreds of panners going for gold in Moffat

Competitors take part in the World Gold Panning Championships in Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway, yesterday as the championships returned to Scotland for the first time since 1992. Hundreds of gold panners – both professional and amateur – from more than 15 countries are competing to become the world champion.
