Prisoner goes missing during hospital visit

-

Police were last night hunting a prisoner who went missing while being treated in hospital.

Jamie Roy, 24, who is on remand at Glasgow’s Barlinnie Prison, was receiving treatment at Glasgow Royal Infirmary when he went missing at around 11pm on Wednesday.

Police are carrying out “extensive inquiries” and asked anyone who knows where he is to contact them. They advised people not to approach him.
