Dunfermline Glory days remembered

-

On the road back! Win the League 1 Championship. Tick. Consolidate in the Championship. Tick. Go on a money-spinning cup run. Tick. Get promoted to the Premiership. Not on tick.

The motto of The Three Musketeers “All For One and One For All” has served Dunfermline, the fan-owned community club, well in the four years since administration.

The retro 1968 strips hark back to winning the Scottish Cup twice and reaching a European semi-final. It’s a long way back to those glory days, but the ambition of reaching the promotion play-offs is surely achievable.

Certainly there is a growing expectation among the fans, with a travelling support which is the equal of some Premiership clubs.
