Morton Triple threat
The new season is finally here. Expectations at Cappielow are high and enthusiasm is through the roof for the 2017-18 season.
Morton’s transfer activity hasn’t been as busy as most, but the ’Ton have retained many key players while strengthening in areas that may be what was missing from last year’s playoff push. A newly formed front three of Bob Mchugh, Robert Thompson and Jai Quitongo has many fans excited, though concerns still linger over the defence. A clean sheet in the opening game of the season at Dumbarton eased some of those worries, though.
Next up is the Renfrewshire derby, with the Greenock faithful hoping their new front three finally set the league alight.
