Police search for vulnerable teen

Police are searching for a vulnerable teenage girl who has gone missing from her home.

Shannon Wilson, 13, who may be barefoot, was last seen at her home in Garngibbock Road, Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, at around 4:30pm yesterday.

She is described as white, 5’4”, slim, with dark hair in a ponytail and thick glasses. She was wearing dark blue jeans and a pink hoodie. Inspector Stuart Robertson said: “Shannon has never gone missing before and her family are extremely worried about her.”
