Mccall wary of Forfar

- By CRAIG P STEWART

Ian Mccall is warning his Ayr players that Forfar – under Gary Bollan – will make it difficult for them.

He said: “Gary was at Dundee United when I was there and he was a really hard worker. His Forfar side have the same attributes.”

Raith Rovers manager Barry Smith, wary of visiting Stranraer, said: “They are full of players who know this league inside out.”

Dick Campbell, looking for Arbroath to build on their opening-day success over Queen’s Park by seeing off hosts Airdrie, said: “It would be terrific to grab our first away win at the first time of asking as well.”

East Fife manager Darren Young, after seeing his side lose 1-0 to Stranraer last week, wants his players to show a cutting edge against visitors Alloa.

Queen’s Park and Albion Rovers meet at Hampden with both teams looking for their first points.
