Oban await fitness check on Macvicar

Oban Camanachd and Lovat meet at An Aird, Fort William with a place in the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final at stake.

Defender Garry Lord, pictured, is free of suspension for Oban Camanachd but injury rules out Matt Rippon. Daniel Macvicar is back in training following a shoulder injury and he will be given every chance to prove his fitness. There are call-ups for young- sters Lewis Buchanan and Evan Maclellan. Lovat attacker Lorne Mackay is suspended whilst Scott Mackenzie is injured. New signings Marc Maclachlan and Duncan Davidson could come into contention. With Marine Harvest Premiershi­p leaders Kinlochshi­el idle, Kyles Athletic will top the table if they beat Glenurquha­rt at Tighnabrua­ich. The Glen travel south without suspended duo John Barr and Andrew Corrigan.

Newtonmore play Glasgow Mid Argyll at The Eilan. Drew Macdonald and Chris Sellar are More’s main concerns whilst GMA, who have lost their last nine successive games, have Mark Bain free of suspension.

Kilmallie hope to have players back for their relegation battle with Lochaber at The Canal Parks. Marine Harvest National Division leaders Skye are at Inverness whilst secondplac­ed Caberfeidh have a tricky trip to Inveraray. Strathglas­s and Fort William meet at Cannich.
