Rally crash road branded ‘infamous’
A former volunteer at the Jim Clark Rally in the Scottish Borders has described a stretch of road close to where three people died in 2014 as infamous. David Andrew told an inquiry into the deaths that there was a small bump in the road which could cause problems for drivers as they passed over it.
The hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court – which is examining the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Iain Provan, Elizabeth Allan and Len Stern at the event in 2014 – is ongoing.
