Sisters who disappeared with father are ‘safe and well’
Two young sisters who had been reported missing from Perth and Kinross were last night found in Northern Ireland.
They were said to be “safe and well”.
Police had been searching for the sisters who disappeared with their father.
Eight-year-old Grace Elizabeth Mckinney, and Kara Mckinney, five, were thought to be with Michael Mckinney, his girlfriend, Martina, and her son Woody, three.
It was believed they were travelling in a cream-coloured Elddis Autoquest motorhome. The girls had last been seen in the Alyth area of Perthshire.
They had been known to camp with their father in the west coast area, Fort William and Skye.
Atabout10pmlastnight,tayside Police said: “We can confirm Grace and Kara Mckinney, who were missing from Perthshire, have been traced safe and well in Northern Ireland.”
In a statement, officers added: “We had a great response from members of the public which resulted in them being traced.”
