Learning curve

Once again Carole Ford has written to express her views on the state of Scottish education (Letters, 14 August). In her letter Ms Ford alleges that the Scottish Government is engaged in a conspiracy to manipulate educational results in order to mislead the public as to the true state of the education system. Speaking as someone who has taught in education for decades, I think her views are outlandish, but as Ms Ford has styled herself as the former president of School Leaders Scotland, we are entitled to ask whether School Leaders Scotland concur with her views.
