Clarkson makes waves again

Shipping services giant Clarkson has reported buoyant half-year results, with pre-tax profits rising 25 per cent to £21.9 million.

Revenue jumped to £156.8m from £147.2m a year earlier, despite having faced “difficult shipping and offshore markets”.

Clarkson said it was “optimistic” it could capitalise on any shipping market upturn.
