Students with a different viewpoint: new-build plan to have stunning views of iconic castle

Empiric Student Property, the owner of premium student accommodation across the UK, has agreed a £26.5 million 166-bed development in King’s Stables Road – with more than half the rooms having views of Edinburgh Castle. The redevelopment will involve demolishing existing buildings and building the new student accommodation. Paul Hadaway, chief executive of Empiric Student Property, said as well as the views of the castle, a World Heritage Site, the development would benefit from being near to the Grassmarket.
