Ross County Missing blend

No big grudges after this defeat, because the better team won in the end. There is a reason why Aberdeen have been comfortably the second-best team in the country in the last couple of years. They lost key players but still have a squad full of quality and experience.

County’s midfield is still missing that blend which held them back here. I like what I see of Ross Draper’s influence and there is more to come from him. Jim O’brien should probably be starting. In a three-man midfield I would want to see those two supported by one of the others in the squad. There isn’t much to complain about but a visit to Motherwell next week brings another game that will help define the season ahead.
