#TRUMP
Michael Moore led the audience of his Broadway play to Trump Tower after the show to join a protest against the president’s comments on the recent violence in Charlottesville. Actors Mark Ruffalo and Olivia Wilde were among those who joined him. @cashleelee tweeted: “Things just wrapped up! I’m sure this won’t be the last protest.” @Siobanirishgirl added: “Unfortunately we’re sure Trump will give plenty more reasons to yell angrily in front of Trump Tower. People shouldn’t be done yelling about this.” @Henry3castro said: “You guys are just getting him reelected – keep it up.” @zoeinthecities posted: “Thanks to @Mmflint & @Markruffalo for helping organize our #Trumptowerprotest tonight and to the NYPD for helping support our peaceful action.”
#BIGBEN
The Prime Minister has returned from holiday and immediately condemned the proposed timescale for repairs to the famous bell. She also spoke about the Charlottesville clashes but did not directly condemn President Donald Trump over his comments that ‘both sides’ were responsible for the violence. @fleetstreetfox said: “I bet I know out of Donald Trump and Bongless Big Ben which one Theresa May will condemn first.” @youngvulgarian added: “Why is the Prime Minister commenting on Big Ben. Does she not have more important things to do?” @Stigabell tweeted: “She meant to say: ‘It can’t be right for a Prime Minister to comment on the noise time makes while it passes – I’ll condemn Trump instead.’”
#GAMEOFTHRONES
The new episode of Game of Thrones has leaked five days early after HBO Spain aired the wrong episode for an hour. @Malikvodk4 tweeted: “You don’t need hacks to filtrate episodes of #GOTS7 when you have HBO Spain releasing the Episode 6. @ Gameofthrones @HBO. What a disaster!” @readatmidnight added: “When it’s only Wednesday night but the internet is already full of #Gameofthrones spoilers.”
