Police report multiple drug seizures

Forty-three drug recoveries have been reported in the Highlands and Islands over the last week, police have confirmed.

They said activity had been carried out across the region – with recoveries in Shetland, Orkney, Caithness, Sutherland, Inverness and the south Highland area. Notable recoveries have included cocaine and herbal cannabis worth a combined £16,500 which were found in a car on the A9 south of Inverness.
