What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

My first ever pair of Louboutins, in Paris. SCREAM. They are hot pink, and the first time I wore them I was very cautious about damaging them, so when I got outside I took them off and carried them.

What are you addicted to buying?

My strange addiction is my Amazon Prime account – every day is Christmas. In the last 24 hours, I’ve bought a vegetable mandolin, two brown eyeliners and three toothbrushes. If I am feeling artisanal, I head to Etsy.

Best ever bargain?

Recently, on a video shoot, a friend gave me a pair of Versace gladiator boots as they didn’t fit him. They did fit my dainty lady trotters, so they were free, and to a good home.

Who has great style?

Jaden Smith – he wears gender non-conforming clothes and makes it all so effortless and cool.

Name your favourite high street shop.

Uniqlo has great basics, nice cuts and a great range of colourful socks. I do love Topshop – oh, and does Pret count?

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

Once on stage, I was squeezed into a magician’s box and, in a contorted position my right testicle popped out, unbeknownst to me. I did feel a change in temperature but it wasn’t until an audience member in the front row pointed out my “co-star” that I was aware of what had happened.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

My 22-inch human hair wig is über riah (that’s gay rhyming slang for fabulous hair). It’s platinum blond with dark roots (it just keeps growing too fast so I never get a chance to tidy up my roots!).
