Festival spirit

It’s officially gin o’clock, so take some time out of your festival schedule to learn more about this spirit. Scottish distiller, Edinburgh Gin, is holding an immersive hour-long show, The Art & Science of Gin, at bar 99 Hanover Street, running today, tomorrow and from 22-27 August at 1:30pm, 3pm and 4:30pm, £20. It features projections, a talk, a clever squooshy scent machine, plus a welcome drink, classic serve cocktail and tasters of a couple of their other offerings.
