Salmond backs Lennon for Hearts

Former First Minister Alex Salmond says he wants Hibs boss Neil Lennon to manage Hearts.

Mr Salmond, who has proven a hit with audiences during his run at the Edinburgh Fringe, is a Hearts supporter.

He made the remarks during Friday’s performance of Alex Salmond: Unleashed at the Assembly Rooms. Along with the Easter Road, the former MP suggested Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers would be a good choice, “if he’s not available it should be Neil Lennon.”
