Woman rescued by lifeboats in midnight callout
A woman was rescued off the Berwickshire coast by two lifeboats at around midnight on Saturday.
After reports that the woman, who had gone into the water at Eyemouth beach, was struggling to swim, both of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution lifeboat crews headed out to sea.
The woman was found around150metresfromthe shore.
The crew recovered her safely and took her back to the shore.
No injuries reported.
