Forest snap up Bridcutt in £1m deal
Scotland international Liam Bridcutt has joined up with Mark Warburton at Nottingham Forest from English Championship rivals Leeds United.
The 28-year-old midfielder, who has two caps to his name, has signed a three-year deal and moves for a fee thought to be in the region of £1 million. Bridcutt said the chance to work with former Rangers manager Warburton was a big factor in his switch.
He said: “I have spoken to the manager and had a good chat and he has brought me here to strengthen the squad and use my experience.
“Everyone I have spoken to who has worked with the manager hasn’t said a bad word about him and you can see from the results at previous clubs that he has a good track record.
“I think as a manager he is an honest guy and the way he wants to play suits me massively.”
